Eric Lefkofsky notes that lack of sufficient information in the area of oncology keeps dragging the rate for which effective treatments are designed. With the partnership that Tempus has put in place, the startup is keen on addressing this major problem. Tempus will avail the institution research data of 1,000 patients who have cancer. The University’s medical professionals will then use the data to come up with more personalized therapies for patients.
